FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino can be leaving his function in January, he introduced in a social media put up on Wednesday.
“I need to thank President Trump, AG Bondi, and Director Patel for the chance to serve with goal,” Bongino wrote in a put up on X. “Most significantly, I need to thanks, my fellow People, for the privilege to serve you.”
President Trump appeared to substantiate Bongino’s exit earlier Wednesday, telling reporters: “Dan did a terrific job. I feel he desires to return to his present.”
The previous Secret Service agent and conservative pundit’s departure from the FBI ends a tumultuous tenure with the Bureau.
