A person was detained by Secret Service personnel at Vice President JD Vance’s Cincinnati dwelling after allegedly inflicting property injury, together with breaking home windows on the outside of a private residence, the Secret Service stated early Monday.
“Shortly after midnight on Monday, January 5, the person was bodily detained by Secret Service brokers assigned to the Vice President’s dwelling,” the Secret Service stated in an announcement. “The residence was unoccupied on the time of the incident, and the Vice President and his household weren’t in Ohio.”
The Secret Service stated the company is coordinating with the Cincinnati Police Division and the U.S. Legal professional’s Workplace about doable fees.
The vp’s workplace has not but responded to request for remark.
