Within the winter of 2006 there was a canine wandering the streets of our neighborhood. A number of individuals had been leaving meals out for her and he or she would huddle up close to somebody’s home at night time, often undetected. We started leaving meals out too, and we made her just a little shelter out of storage bins, and put a blanket in it with a heating pad that we ran off the Christmas lights.
