The United Kingdom has named LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER as its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The 70th anniversary edition gathers performers from around the world in Vienna, Austria, this May.
Officials revealed the selection on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show via BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds. LMNC, the project’s online persona, stands out as an experimental singer-songwriter who builds and performs with custom musical machines. The artist openly identifies as a devoted Eurovision follower.
Artist Shares Enthusiasm for the Contest
LMNC expressed thrill about the opportunity: “I find it completely bonkers to be jumping on this wonderful and wild journey. I have always been a massive Eurovision fan, and I love the magical joy it brings to millions of people every year, so getting to join that legacy and fly the flag for the UK is an absolute honour that I am taking very seriously.”
The performer highlighted their creative process: “I’ve been working a long time creating, writing, and producing my own visions from scratch, and documenting my process.”
LMNC promised a bold performance: “I will be bringing every ounce of my creativity to my performances, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear and see what we’ve created. I hope Eurovision is ready to get synthesized!”
