Drugs Freely Offered in High Street Convenience Stores
Cocaine and cannabis sell openly in mini-marts along High Streets across West Midlands towns, an undercover investigation reveals.
Investigators captured secret footage of transactions at multiple locations, including Cradley Market.
Rapid Sale at Cradley Market
A counter worker named Akwa handed over 3.5 grams of cannabis for £30 to an investigator in mere seconds.
“I’ve got weed, coke, everything. Whatever you want, I can sort you out,” Akwa stated, before supplying cocaine as well.
Worker Denies Involvement
Akwa rejected any accusations of wrongdoing during a later confrontation. He claimed ignorance of the matter and requested the investigators leave the premises.
Official Actions Underway
The Home Office collaborates with police, the National Crime Agency (NCA), and Trading Standards to combat these criminal operations, a spokesperson announced.
West Midlands Police commit to partnering on reports of illegal drug sales, anti-social behavior, and related crimes.
