Five-Month Multi-Agency Probe Yields Major Haul
The bust concludes a five-month investigation conducted by officers from Regina, Saskatoon, and Brandon police services. On February 7, teams raided two homes in Regina, one residence in Davidson, Saskatchewan, and another in Brandon, Manitoba, uncovering the illicit drugs and cash.
Suspects Charged with Organized Crime Offenses
A 43-year-old man from Edmonton, Alberta, and a 56-year-old woman from Stockholm, Saskatchewan, face charges including instructing the commission of an offence for a criminal organization, drug trafficking, and possession.
A 50-year-old man from Regina and a 54-year-old woman from Moosomin, Saskatchewan, are charged with commission of an offence for a criminal organization and drug trafficking.
All four suspects made their initial court appearances in Regina Provincial Court on February 9 and are set to return later this week.
