Critical Hospital Response

Emergency medical teams at St. Paul’s Hospital received two 25-year-old male patients at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, both suffering from knife injuries. Medical personnel confirmed one victim succumbed to his wounds shortly after arrival, while the second remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Major Crimes Unit Takes Lead

The Saskatoon Police Service’s Major Crimes Section has assumed control of the ongoing investigation. Investigators stated forensic teams are currently examining multiple scenes connected to the violent incident.

Police officials have yet to release suspect information or potential motives, but confirmed they’re pursuing multiple investigative leads. Community members with relevant information are urged to contact authorities.

Unrelated Court Development

In separate legal proceedings, Andrew Rosenfeldt was acquitted of charges related to the death of Nykera Brown following recent court proceedings. This case remains unrelated to the ongoing homicide investigation.
