BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand’s chief vowed to maintain combating on the disputed border with Cambodia as fighter jets struck targets on Saturday, December 13, hours after US President Donald Trump mentioned he had brokered a ceasefire.

Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul posted on Fb that the Southeast Asian nation would “proceed to carry out navy actions till we really feel no extra hurt and threats to our land and other people.”

Trump, who brokered a ceasefire within the long-running border dispute in October, spoke to Anutin and Cambodian premier Hun Manet on Friday, and mentioned that they had agreed to “stop all capturing.”
