A millionaire former owner of Premier League club Nottingham Forest suffered stab wounds during a home invasion by masked intruders. Fawaz Al-Hasawi confronted two armed men who broke into his £10 million Mayfair property in London earlier this month.
Details of the Attack
The 57-year-old Kuwaiti entrepreneur was asleep when the raiders burst into his bedroom. He sustained stab injuries to his hand and neck while trying to fight them off. A social media photo from the hospital shows his hands heavily bandaged following the ordeal.
Authorities report that it remains unclear if the robbers stole anything before fleeing. Al-Hasawi is a well-known collector of luxury watches.
