Dubai, United Arab Emirates — Iran’s parliament speaker has branded the leaders of the United States and Israel as “filthy criminals” facing “devastating blows” over their persistent strikes against the Islamic Republic.
Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, the nation’s top legislative official, issued the strong statement in a televised speech on Sunday. He represents the highest-ranking figure to address the situation publicly on camera since the assaults started Saturday.
Direct Warnings Issued
Qalibaf declared, “You have crossed our red line and must pay the price.” He added, “We will deliver such devastating blows that you yourselves will be driven to beg.”
The remarks underscore escalating tensions amid the ongoing military exchanges targeting Iranian interests.
